It’s been a while since I did do my fave 10 covers of Nick Cave songs, then I did do a few live ones that I really liked too plus my fave worst cover too. So here’s even more focusing on his newer songs this time. I’ve had to included to bookend with two older songs the Arctic Monkeys with the second best Red Right Hand cover after PJ and finishing with Ouch My Face Junkyard cover which was The Birthday Party cover I missed last time, off couse it’s the title track from that album. The rest are 2010’s and 2000’s songs with two each from Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! album and Grinderman Two album, one each from No More Shall We Part album, Nocturama album, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus album and Grinderman One album. Yes, I do know Abbe May is below three times but if there was such thing as the Australia Nick Cave Show or something like that, that’s who I would hire to sing his songs.
