So somewhat following last Friday’s post here’s another one about this very new band called Tropical Fuck Storm which are yet to even release a song! But I do have music in this post and because I get a little carry away by these things, a whole new post is need now. We as music fans might be in for a long and drip feeding of stuff about them, after a couple of weeks ago and since announcing the new band we do have American tour dates and now one new photo of leader Gaz recording in the studio, main or featured image of today’s posts. So I guess they’re still recording these new songs as I write this gibber here.
So in the meantime in the Black & White pic just above is the whole new band, on the far right is Lauren Hammel the drummer from High Tension. Next to her going left is Erica Dunn from Harmony, Palm Springs and then Gaz and Fi from The Drones. Now I have about thousand blog posts on them, if you wanna go backwards and check it out but the last one was on Shark Fin Blues too.
Anyway if you never check out High Tension, Harmony and Palm Springs? Well you don’t have to go and even google them now because I’ve done it already. So here’s High Tension’s 2015 album called Bully which is the only album Lauren plays drums on too, different drummer on the debut album.
Harmory’s last epic album was from 2014 was called Carpetbombing and here it is.
Plus Palm Springs are yet to release an album but have an EP from 2016 called
Flowers In A Vase and once again here it is too.
I can’t wait to hear what the hell TFS do? First is going to be 7″ single or two or three or four, it don’t really say when you sign-up at they website but you’ll get the news there first, if you do.
