Remembering: Dolores O’Riordan

The song Linger would have to be my fave by The Cranberries and that track been on repeat a few time this morning after reading that so very sad news at only 46 lead singer songwriter of The Cranberries passing away, with no more info right now. I grew-up in the 90’s or was a teenage or whatever and they were just huge then. Another epic hit by them Zombie has featured on my blog more because of the simple fact of having zombie in the title and I am obsessed with zombies so that one would be in one of these posts here or here but I shouldn’t be going on about today. I should maybe have more than one song above too but I wasn’t their biggest fan of them but did love that one or those two and will off course have a listen some more songs, albums today because that’s what I do or everyone does do after hearing news like this, most likely starting at the beginning with:

The song Linger was from Everybody Else Is Doing It So Why Can’t We? which was the debut studio album and released in the early part of 1993 and from Wikipedia: At the end of 1995, it ranked as the 50th best selling album in Australia… the Linger video clip shot in grayscale, is a tribute to Jean-Luc Godard‘s 1965 noir film Alphaville. In one of the rooms of the hotel a silent film is being shown which features 1950’s stripper Blaze Starr.
