Playlist: Where I Was In… 1995?

I don’t know really, do you? I mean, where were you then?

Right, I did say Monday’s was going to be my old mixtapes but I’m going to start to do yet another new thingy here on my blog today! I love this blogger’s blog, she’s got some great stuff she’s goes under the name lyriquediscorde, I’ve linked her before. So I hope she just doesn’t think I’m stealing her ideas but this is more as a long winded reply to this post here. I’ve make my own fifty track playlist of fave songs of the year 1995. Now at first it wasn’t going to be 50 tracks long but I got a little carried away and then just realised how long it got. Wasn’t 1995 a very great year for music?

So much fun! A lot of Aussie stuff but do cover the U.K. and U.S. but also a couple from N.Z. plus Iceland and Japan make the cut. I’ve most likely forgotten something? I did try to included only one act each but the singers Mike Patton and Mark Lanegan both make it in twice. Big names but smaller ones are all included, I really can’t remember what the hell I was doing that year but I think there hopefully is something for everyone? Mainly indie rock but some other genres are involved too. Three covers towards the end and three songs from soundtracks, as well. The feature image an actress from my fave film of 95 and is also inspired by lyriquediscorde yet again, sorry!
