Playlist: Where I Was In… 1999?

Back to the 90’s for Wednesday night and the last day of Feb. 2018 too. Off course, I said before the 90’s decade means 50 songs in this playlist, you know? This was really unbelievably easy for me and could most likely be added too at a later date but will do for the moment. Please feel free to tell me your own faves here or I’ve missed?

I’m now at the tail end of the 90’s tonight and have done the following year already. It was few days ago I was talking to the blogger Elaine about this year but was more about the mainstream pop songs of 1999. So I just had started a playlist of great and fave tracks for that year and might as well posted it up now for everyone or anyone who wanna check it out now?

 Yet again, all the Aussie acts are all the opening tracks which adds up to ten or eleven if you still call Nick Cave an Aussie? He’s what we would call an expat now but I guess still counts then we go overseas. A few covers too riddled though which I love as well. Starting it all with one I did write a post about that whole Jimmy Little album at the start of the year which is a full cover album of Aussie songs, linked here too. So that’s Jimmy doing a great Ed Kuepper track which I do love too and then Bodyjar doing old hippie song in punk, Cave does a very older blues at his Meltdown fest, Pearl Jam didn’t write that one, Rammstein covers an epic 80’s band, The White Stripes does yet another old blues track, Luna then also do yet another epic from the 80’s. Can I say I love all of them more than the originals? Or would that be really bad? Oh, well too late!
