Playlist: Where I Was In… 1976?

Math class yet again now again with six comes after nine because it’s like it’s up side down or something! I think this might just be it, OK? I’ve done playlists for the years 1970 to 2003 so that’s 33 years! I might do something else now, OK? I don’t know what yet?

So going over all these bloody lists just one more time, I don’t think I will add anymore to them. I’m getting a little over it so I don’t want it become something I don’t like doing. It was fun to do but that’s it for now. So the final score is this: 1970 had only 22 songs. Then it when up to 30 tracks for 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 which your looking at right now. 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983. Then up again to 50 songs for 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991. Then it when up yet again to 75 tracks for 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996. Then go back down to 50 songs for 1997, 1998, 1999. Then down yet again to 30 tracks for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003. Who’s got a calculator? What’s does all that add up too? Because I don’t think I’m going to do that, sorry. I’ll say it’s a lot of songs which hopefully covers all styles over those years and my faves. Taking the last few months at the start of this year to do. Maybe, revisited this at a later date to add even more songs to those years and plus the missing years too!

Oh, sorry about the Hollywood white wash feature images because I think should put more films/actress from other places but it’s little too late now. Maybe, a few more Aussie movies would have be good too!

This year is the one I was born in, you know?

  1. Another great list William – Norman Gunston and Chad Morgan !!! Hilarious! Not many other Aussie songs though – in 1976 there weren’t many good bands (even Sherbet were considered a big band then). Lucky The Saints changed all that.

There were a lot of great songs on your list I only heard a few years later – Pablo Picasso etc. At the time I had only the Dylan, Reed and Bowie albums. Sorry I haven’t kept up with all your lists. I’ve been a bit distracted. I’ll work through some of the years when I was more engaged. Cheers. Peter

    1. Well, they’re still there to listen at anytime you’ll like too! You know?
Yeah, The Saints did i do that! But i do love, really love Chad and then Norman’s song, my kind-of Abba song is just take the piss!
I think I’m doing at least some of the 60’s now after saying that’s it but it might take a week or two get it all together!
Anyway enjoy and thanks again 🙂
