Playlist: Where I Was In… 1965?

So we are up to mid-60’s already! I don’t know what really to say about this decade at all in my blog, I was far from being there!

Both my olds who were teenagers then who did see The Rolling Stones on the very first New Zealand tour. Have I blogged about this before? It was the same theater as a very young kid we had a trip over to NZ which I don’t remember much but remember going to the movies but I don’t remember the film at all but the theater had two huge loins or tigers statue with red eyes that glowing bright the whole time, the same place as The Rolling Stones played but I can’t remember what it was called, named maybe a kiwi can tell me if you know the place? I think it was one of the very early Star Wars movies!

I can tell everyone, anyone who’s interested in these yearly posts I’ve got two or three of these left, I might stop at the year 1962 if that is OK? If want to leave some feedback about my blog, feel free to do so? Maybe what would you like me to blog about next, anything you’ll like to see? Maybe I should keep going back but I don’t think I will!

      1. HI William (and Elaine), Go Now is one of the Moody Blues 2 great songs (IMO) I still like – the other is Nights in White Satin. I listened to a lot of their albums in high school, but they’re mostly very prog-rock. As an adolescent they seemed Significant, but later on they seemed unbearable (like a lot of other prog-rock). I had a school-friend who kept listening to them until the 80s at least (and probably he still does). It made me worry about him, but everyone has their own thing. Try Days of Future Passed for some of their best.

  1. Cool, will have a listen in the next few days. Well, I think it would be nice to finish off the 60s playlists, even if you need to bench it for a while if you’re a bit over it? But of course it’s up to you. I’m sure there are plenty of ppl who would agree! But you do what you want to do, no pressure. =)
