Here’s the very first brand new cover of 2019 for a Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds track. This time it’s by Evan Dando and company from the album they dropped yesterday entitled Varshons 2 which is the follow-up second album of covers by them, off course. Yeah, I know this is like the third Cave post in just one week so call me obsessed!
Originally Straight to You was from 1992 Henry’s Dream album and was one of the single/video lifted from it too. That video was directed by Anton Corbijn, fun fact today the band totally hated this video because it was a very long shoot and nothing worked as it was planned. Corbijn also did the billboard artwork album cover for Henry’s Dream album too. Below is that video promo clip of early 90’s and above is the new cover, if you can’t figure it out?

a1000mistakes 
This is a very respectful tribute. Guitars moving into Jesus and Mary Chain territory occasionally, and the vocals slightly under-played. It’s great that I’ve found somebody to do some of the ground work in finding new sounds. Thank you!
