Playlist: 3 Mixtapes I send over East last month

After the post a month or so back, I’ve send out yet more mixes in the snail mail! But I’ve got to blog post it so here it is, this time it’s an all Aussie artists songs mixes to an Aussie listener which means most likely they already know most of this stuff but I don’t know? It’s stuff I bang on about here on my blog all the time and they follow it but they now have three CD-rs I’ve made for them, lucky them! Once again I’ve got to take note of it here so posted up something about it today this Friday, embedded each track below again which some you might notices are the same artists or even the same tracks on the  last mixtapes post which is linked here.

I think I wrote a line or two about each track last time but not doing that here today but it’s some new-ish stuff is included or some of my all-time faves. Off course, all as you can see/hear above are all different acts but it’s worth saying: T Lyngcoln is the singer-songwriter in Harmony and The Nation Blue, G Liddiard is the same with main acts of The Drones and Tropical Fuck Storm, Jarrod Quarrell is the singer-songwriter in both St Helens and Lost Animal, Jonnine Standish is in HTRK but is guest singer in her husbands’ former duo of Standish/Carloyn and then Tom Carloyn since then has formed Time For Dreams with Amanda Roff who’s also in Harmony. Erica Dunn is lead singer-songwriter in Palm Springs and Mod Con but also plays in both Tropical Fuck Storm and Harmony too. The Dead C are New Zealand and Mark Kozelek is an American so it’s not totally all Aussie, sorry I’m not telling the truth about that that! I think that’s everything really needs to be added, if you don’t know that stuff? It might be interesting or not?

I used another Aussie band High Tension logo/sticker, which isn’t even on the mixes as the front cover so here’s it is as the feature image for this post!

Does anybody what to ask something about this? Please do below!

Cheers 🙂

  1. Thanks, really good music. Some I knew, but a lot I didn’t and thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t believe I have never heard of Alex Cameron, but the dude needs to dance in one of his music videos.😁 Lost Cause, Gold Class also new to me.
Cheers mate, I look forward to hearing more.
