A to Z: I is for…

OK, Monday morning I’m going back to my teenage self years and another big huge band with my fave band member of Guns N’ Roses would easy be Izzy Stradlin! He can have my award show of all-time rhythm guitar player too. Following last week’s lead guitar and I could find two more different bands if I try harder? Yeah, I know I’m changing back to given first names and not last or surnames but really why not? This the closest to blogging about GNR after like four years, so make the most of it today! Let’s name my all-time fave song by them today, OK? That would easy be the song Estranged which solo Axl Rose songwriting credit but Izzy did play on all those songs just before leaving the band. This cut was on Use Your Illusion II album of 1991 but wasn’t released as single until 1993 with the crazy Axl swimming with dolphins video clip so let’s watch that now:

Off course the so-called reunion of GNR over last couple has been a wast of time because isn’t included. Anyway after leaving GNR in the 90’s he quickly form a new band and recorded his debut solo entitled Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds in 1992 which I still love that album much more that any of his former band’s stuff, if truth be told?
