Let’s finish these A-Z thingos with a female artist, maybe should have had more as the main featured artist and image over all these A-Z posts? I’ve actually missed a lot of faves as the features but hopefully at least one song popped in to the tracks I’ve been naming! Anyway it’s Zola Jesus as my closing alphabet blog post today, if you don’t know who she is hopefully I might or not do a good job at intro you to her? But let’s just link this post did last year which all her and 2011’s Conatus album, if you really want know more about her? Funny thing I’ll share with anyone/everyone for a longtime I would her Zoe and didn’t get it’s “la” not “e” but then when I did get it into my head it was Zola and not Zoe, I just did it to mainly piss off Goths because they get very worked up about little details like people’s names. Anyway now I am being a total dickhead and I should stop saying shit. Fun fact today is when Paul Kelly starting playing all his song in A to Z order on tour he didn’t have one for letter “Z” to finish on so he just had to write one which he called Zoe. So seems I was saying that rubbish about Zoe above it’s gotta be the last song of this too!
That’s A-Z done, sometimes an award show thrown in just to make it even more fun! I hope enjoy it? Please do tell me what you think of it all? Because I’ve gone a little nuts with it and been posting madly everyday until I’ve finished it. I’m now going to be having another blogging break now! William, first off, apologies for not coming around. Good intentions. Thing is you are so prolific that it’s hard to give your takes the time they deserve. I hate to glance over because I dont want to miss anything. You have pointed me in some good directions.
Great set here. The captain does a pretty good version of ‘Torture’ also. I’m going to make an effort and pop in once a week. So youre stuck with me.
