Soundtrack Songs: The Handmaid’s Tale S2 E12 Postpartum

This Little Light Of Mine was sung by Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski) to the new baby. It’s an old gospel song written in the 1920’s by Harry Dixon Loes, here’s Bruce Springsteen with his Sessions Band live in Dublin 2007 doing a version of that song:

June and Holly by Adam Taylor was used on end credits:

Aunt Lydia: Commander Lawrence is a very brilliant, very important man. He’s considered the architect of Gilead’s economy. Have you nothing to say for yourself?

Emily: I’m wondering why such an important, brilliant man would take in such a shitty handmaid.

It’s Eden (Sydney Sweeney) and Isaac (Rohan Mead) right-left at the bottom of a swimming pool!

Cheers!

That cut by Bruce reminds me of the energy at an old Pogue show.

Well, I'm dyslexic so writing about something I love: Music, might help but it's most likely just full of mistakes. That title is also lyrics from The Drones song called I Don't Want To Change. Oh, my name is William and thanks for having a look.
