Song of the Day: Age of Chang by The Fall

OK, I’ve notices some bloggers are doing those “Song of the Day Challenge” again or they have made a bit of a comeback in C-19 lock-down! Well, here’s my own little challenge back again and challenging anyone today who think those are just a tiny little bit short? This idea is kind-of alphabetically picking the most very important, my (or your) own favorites and then some lesser well-known tracks I’ll (or you’ll) like to share with everyone or anyone out there in blog-land but I/(you) should love all of them in someway or another? Picking, naming and I like saying some stuff, maybe a little intro because some might not have any idea who or want the hell they’re? Sometimes even if it’s complete rubbish I’m writing about these songs, post it and see if anyone else care’s too listen or then press the like button or maybe just leave a reply?

Inviting anyone who wants to do the same? It would be cool to see/hear just even if it’s only one other blogger to do this idea but their own way because it would interesting what songs would they pick? Guessing, it would be totally different songs? But what would be the same songs, if any? Etc. Maybe, this might be totally dumb or just insane idea because if you’ve been following/reading/looking/listening or just sometimes check out this blog, you’ll know I’ve started this silly idea sometime back in Nov. 2019 and cut to last month of April 2020 I’ve only got to songs starting with Af… or word was “After”, it’s going take me forever and then some more just to get too the letter B, I guess? Maybe, I’m going way tooo detail because I’ve got something for almost every word? Is anyone else so mad too do this or could be so bored? Anyway it doesn’t matter, just crazy idea! 

I think, the last post was my SOTD number 55 so today’s it’s 56th! But you might wanna just knows what the hell comes after “After”? So I’m amazingly limiting myself to only one “Age” something song but who knows I might Chang my mind tomorrow? It’s Age of Chang by The Fall from the album entitled Ersatz GB of 2011. I like or love the later years maybe even more than their hey-day of 80’s or whatever? It’s the closing track from that album too, you know? Including three YouTube clips, yeah I’ve gone a little overboard embedding the same song so take your pick? One with just the front album cover at the very top and just above is a fan made video using some old 70’s action-fighting movie? Then a live clip from early 2012 just below followed by the lyrics which I’ve just cut and pasted from somewhere? It’s my first Mark E. Smith and The Fall SOTD post tooo but I’ve blogged a bit about him/them before, you know?
