Song of the Day: Airport Train by Warren Ellis

Most likely one of my most fave muso of all-time gets yet another post on my blog this Monday morning, are you sick of me talking about him yet? It’s the final Air… something song title for my SOTD posts as well!

It’s his newest soundtrack score from just this year which I think, I already told everyone about it at least twice but I guess, those posts were with something else? Today’s track of the eight on This Train I Ride is the only once that doesn’t have movie quotes included on it. I dig it when they do that on soundtracks but also dig it when they don’t so I guess, what I’m saying is I can never make my mind up about that? What does everyone else think about that?

So I found the song on YouTube by itself but also got the full album below. It’s for a doco that has a train theme, if you can’t tell? All about female train hoppers in America so Mr. Ellis mostly recorded his score on the Paris Metro and Eurostar trains:
