I guess, they’re not as well known as yesterday’s SOTD eg. Nirvana but then who is? They’re pretty well known but I think, they should be even more popular! If you know nothing about them? They’re three pierce female band from Olympia, Washington, U.S.A. and they have been labeled as Punk Rock and Riot Grrrl. This album was done by want would be called now, I guess? The “classic” line-up of Carrie Brownstein on guitar and vocals, Corin Tucker on vocals and guitar and Janet Weiss on drums, percussion and vocals so yeah, no bass player. All Hands On The Bad One song also has Sarah Dougher playing organ. It’s the track track from their the fifth studio album of the year 2000. Originally the record was put out on the Kill Rock Stars label but has been reissued a few years ago on Sub Pop. The All Hands On The Bad One words are:
Can’t get to Heaven in a silver spoon
Polish everything except for the mark on you, you
Come be the first in line, to shake the hand of mine
Come be the first in line, to shake the hand of
All hands on the bad one, all hands on the bad one
We would be no better, we would be no better
All hands on the bad one, all hands on the bad one
We would be no better, we would be no better
Can’t get to Heaven in your Sunday best
When night before they were callin’ it your cocktail dress, dress
Come be the first in line, to shake the hand of mine
Come be the first in line, to shake the hand of
All hands on the bad one, all hands on the bad one
We would be no better, we would be no better
All hands on the bad one, all hands on the bad one
We would be no better, we would be no better
All hands on the bad one, all hands on the bad one
We would be no better, we would be no better
All hands on the bad one
Can’t get to Heaven with a three chord song
Called you a sinner, people want to sing along, along
They’re on bandcamp too but you have to buy it/pay for it to listen tooo the whole album! Buy music you say, I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous thing!

So that is it, this Monday morning after something like three/four months of fuckin’ about with all the “All” tracks or at least songs starting with the word “All” I’ve got to the end of that! That’s unless I change my mind tomorrow and add another “All” song? Nope, I’ll not do that! In fact, I did have a few more “All” songs noted down before but they’ve missed out because I really do think, it’s time to move on to whatever the hell is next or do something else? Off course, I didn’t post that many in the end and they’re way more “All” songs but I’m calling these ones I’ve blogged about the best or maybe, that should be just the ones I care to post on my blog! It’s most likely something like hundreds of “All” songs? If you can think of one you wanna share with me right now, you think is better or something? Please leave it in the replies, if you’ll like tooo? All my SOTD “All” posts, if anyone cares or missed them or something? Were:
- All My Friends Are Alcoholics by Mike Noga
- All Channels Open by The Dead C
- All Day Breakfast by Kelso
- All By Myself by Matt Walker
- All I Want Is You by Poor People
- All Fall Down by The Darling Downs
- All The Same by Lizzy Mercier Descloux
- All Done In by Plug Uglies
- All I Care About by Mankins
- All Apologies by Nirvana
- All Hands On The Bad One by Sleater-Kinney

It’s been a great run of songs! There are too many songs beginning with “All” to mention, but one of my favorites is “All Around the World” by Lisa Stansfield. https://youtu.be/JVuuatjHGnY
