Song of the Day: Age Of Consent by New Order

So like yesterday’s “A” word for some unknown reason I only did included one “Age” something song last year? So now, once again revisiting that and adding one more today! This Sunday morning is the opening song from the greatest New Order album ever made, is that a scientific fact by now? Power, Corruption & Lies was the second studio album by them of 1983 which you could already know this? I think, I’m picking way more well known songs and acts for my SOTD posts this year than I did last year? I don’t think, I really need to tell you who the hell New Order are, do I? Almost everyone knows, right? Ian Curtis/Joy Division and are from Manchester, England etc. but can’t really believe they kicked out their bass player Peter Hook for the latest reunion but they did it! Remember seeing that video clip with all it’s blue lights on the Aussie late night tv show RAGE all the time too! The words of Age of Consent are:

Won’t you please let me go?
These words lie inside they hurt me so
And I’m not the kind that likes to tell you
Just what I want to do
I’m not the kind that needs to tell you
Just what you, want me to
I saw you this morning, I thought that you might like to know
I received your message in full a few days ago
I understood every word that it said
And now that I’ve actually heard it, you’re going to regret
And I’m not the kind that likes to tell you
Just what you want me to
You’re not the kind that needs to tell me
About the birds and the bees
Do you find this happens all the time?
Crucial point one day becomes a crime
And I’m not the kind that likes to tell you
Just what I want to do
I’m not the kind that needs to tell you,…

Yet another silly photo, they’re all trying ride a push bike inside for some unknown reason?

Cheers! 🙂
