Well, the fun is almost over now so maybe should have somehow spread it out more or something? It’s nineties Thursday, if you’re interested? Here’s the very last one of this set of posts/lists because it’s only the 20th century for now, I might do the completed couple of decades of the current century we’re all living at some other time, OK? One more time we’ve got tooo my favorite decade as well, I’ve say before more than once or twice here on this blog of mine, you know? This idea is simple, if you’ve missed the last three day’s posts? Just my very own personally favorite songs of all-time with only one track per artist in no particular order, just hopefully a wicked cool flow which they’re these…
Loom Of The Land by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds from Henry’s Dream (1992):
The Way I Made You Feel by Ed Kuepper from Honey Steel’s Gold (1991):
Love Of Life by Swans from Love of Life (1992):
The Garden by Einstürzende Neubauten from Ende Neu (1996):
Mistress by Red House Painters from Red House Painters I aka Rollercoater (1993):
Waiting For The Miracle by Leonard Cohen from The Future (1992):
Ice by Magic Dirt from Life Was Better EP (1994):
Cannonball by The Breeders from Last Splash (1993):
Evidence by Faith No More from King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime (1995):
Everything’s Fucked by Dirty Three from Dirty Three (1995):
I guess, if you were labeling these songs something? Almost all can easy be filed under indie rock of some kind? Right or maybe, wrong? Lenny is now doing his synth style, him and FNM were the major label releases so the rest were indies but I think, it would be Breeders with the biggest I’ve got today! It seem this time to be more early and mid nineties and totally missing the later years again as my personal favorites. It’s four Aussies, one Canadian, one German and four Americans as the score line by counties. Even more of my usual suspects reoffending above, maybe I’m just repeating myself again and again! If you count up the top artists over these last four days? It’s Cohen as solo artist, Kuepper with Saints, Clowns and solo and Cave with both The Boys Next Door and twice with his Bad Seeds with three tracks each. Then it would be Dylan, Bush and Neubauten with a couple each and then third place with one track is well, everyone else with just one song each! Worth to note as both as the singer and a band member Blixa Bargeld is included four times so he the wins overall artist so let’s give him a Tokyo gold medal or something? Any questions? Please let me know what you think of them, if you like? Or maybe, your own top ten from those ten years, if you’ve made one yourself before or maybe come up with one now yourself?
End note: OK, NOT American pollies anymore because feature images have been changed of these TTT decade best songs posts are now all American horror movies!
