Well, the year is almost all over yet again! So this Sunday morning is my own best/fave albums of this year, yet another top ten plus five bonus categories toooo! If you wanna check it out?
New Long Leg by Dry Cleaning wins my very top spot! So That’s the very first English band to win my own award show at the end of the year, you know? Since starting this blog thing a few years ago: it’s been one American act and the rest have been Aussies, off course! Anyway this debut album I think, is one I’ve enjoy the very most over the whole year of 2021, it was released back April so it’s been around for a while and plus even notices it topping others end of lists toooo! Check it out if you haven’t yet? But here’s just one track, all albums have just one song below and I guess, if you press play and you’ve dig it, you’ll hope check out the rest of it? If you haven’t yet? I’ve said it somewhere before, I enjoy the closing track Every Day Carry the best and that’s still the case:
Rhinestones by HTRK can be the runner-ups! They won my little award for album of year a couple of years ago plus the debut solo HTRK front woman Jonnine album won last year but just missing out top spot this year, sorry they can’t win every year but second place is still wicked cool, you know? Fast Friend is around the halfway point on the LP:
The rest or the other eight aren’t really numbered or rated in any real order but they’re just the best/my faves etc.
