Soundtrack Songs: The Handmaid’s Tale S4 E3 The Crossing & S4 E4 Milk

The Crossing episode it’s worth saying, if you didn’t notice? Was Elisabeth Moss as a director debut, going on to do a couple more this season which was the Progress and Testimony episodes. Also in The Crossing there’s was a techno beat track which I can’t seem to figure it out and no-one else can as far as I see, looking else where but if you know what the hell it is? Please let me know and edited it in below, thanks. I think, got most of the songs over the next posts but if I’ve missed anything else let me know? Known songs in these couple of episodes are:

June is singing Heaven Is a Place on Earth by Belinda Carlisle yet again:

Nocturne No. 2 in E-Flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 which is composer Frédéric Chopin, played here by Sándor Falvay:

Street Spirit (Fade Out) by Radiohead:

Let Me Take You Out by Class Actress:

Janine is also singing Three Little Birds by Bob Marley & The Wailers again:

Quote from Milk episode to finish with but it’s a bit longer today:

Janine: I hate it. I hate it in here.
June: I know. Me too. We’re OK. We’re gonna be OK.
Janine: How is this OK?
June: ‘Cause we’re going to get there, and we’re gonna find them. We’re gonna find Mayday, and they’re going to help us.
Janine: You keep saying that, but you don’t know. Do you have some secret brilliant plan? What is it? What’s the plan?
June: Look, Janine, we’re OK.
Janine: I’m not a mushroom. I’m not.
June: OK…
Janine: You can’t keep me in the dark and feed me lies and shit and expect me to be OK with it.
June: I don’t do that.
Janine: Yes, you do. You don’t know where we’re going. You don’t know if we’re going to be OK.
June: I’m keeping us alive.
Janine: They were the nicest, Alma and Brianna. Maybe that’s why.
June: Why what?
Janine: Why god wanted them and not us, at least not you.
June: No, that’s not how god works.
Janine: Well, I think he does.

It’s both Elisabeth Moss as June and Madeline Brewer as Janine escaping again!

Cheers! 🙂
