Playlist: Where I Was In… 1986?

WOW! What a great year for Aussie music and there is no apologies from me but I guess, at some stage I will added overseas acts OK? But I’ve got the Aussie mainstream, as well what was happening in the indie music scene. Off course even of indie than the other really but then some even crossed over at this point too!

Well, it’s not the best blogging week so far and I don’t think it’s get any better but I’ll see and try, with Easter coming which that means it’s even busy. So I don’t thinking I’m going to be blogging much, OK? It’s a few days off blogging, I’ll say sorry for that now!

 With both The Triffids and Nick Cave releasing two albums, I couldn’t even cut down them both, those are my fave songs from those epic wicked albums. The last three acts are from New Zealand, I could say it was a pretty great year too for them too! The rest of the world artists and bands really are just going to have to wait. It’s 30 track from Oz and NZ as my opening tracks for 1986!

I’ve written about some of these tracks before on my blog, at the start of this year I picked out a couple of my fave songs from the cult classic Aussie movie Dogs In Space so that’s linked here and one of my very first post ever was about that Ed Kuepper song, god knows what I was saying because I don’t remember but here’s that link too. Could be more of these tracks somewhere here on my blog before but I think I should shut-up right now!
