Today for mid-week and it’s only been a couple of days since my last SOTD post is kind-of starting all the “All” something song titles! I’ve only selected a few but it does seems like the list I’ve made for it does have a lot on it but in reality, they’re about a zillion songs starting with the word “All” so these few that are going to be popping up hopeful over the next few days/weeks/months/years/decades are my own picks of let’s call them the best “All” song titles of all-time! I guess, should say no one on earth will agree with me? Plus I think, I’ve already posted the very best “All” song title of all-time, linked here!
This Wednesday’s morning post is also my all-time fave New Zealand band today! What’s yours? I guess, it’s most likely NOT everyone’s cup of tea? But I do love them so sharing them, yet again! I guess, you would call them a noise rock band, if you need to describe them? This track was from their self-titled album of 2000 which is very hard to find but I’m embedding below what they labeled under selected work entitled Vain, Erudite And Stupid which is a collection of their songs from 1987 to 2005 with today’s SOTD All Channels Open at tracklisting number 19, almost the end of 22 songs. So is anyone else out there going to listen to the whole double album?
So this next bit is going to be counting up all or the not that many and adding some links to the older SOTD posts that are all the Kiwi acts, so far! It’s been Dog Power of 2018 from Christchurch, Élan Vital/Ov Pain of 2017 from Dunedin, Bird Nest Roys of mid-80’s from Auckland and today’s post is The Dead C adds up to only four/five! If you missed them or wanna revisit it them or something? Oh yeah, The Dead C are originally from Dunedin too. I have a feeling Dunedin might win, if I’m going to count-up where most the NZ bands/artists come from? Dunedin is something like the unofficial music capital of NZ! Also I’m adding this song to my year 2000 playlist which I did re-posted/used in my last 1001 book/list post at the end of last month but here’s that old post about just about that playlist itself, now is heavily edited but linked here, if anyone wanna check it out again or something?

Cheers! 🙂
Hmm, I listened to “All Channels Open”, as well as several other tracks on the album, and I’m afraid I don’t get their appeal William. While their music is certainly fascinating and unique, it’s not something I could listen to for enjoyment. I’m just an old-school guy who prefers his music on the more melodic side, but at the end of the day, each of us likes the music that speaks to us.
