Off course, I’m going to have a Ween album on my little list of faves and it’s gotta be this album! So after only posting one of these blog posts last month, let’s see if I can get a bit farther this month? By my memory this was somewhere around here, maybe 1995 or was it 96 was their first Aussie tour which I did see back then too!
Both Bloomsbury publishers’ 33 1/3 little books and was on Aussie radio Double J classic album show, the former printed in 2011 and later broadcasted April earlier this year. This album is most likely on more list like these and mine list but those are the first couple that come to my mind. It’s universally appear is amazing for a bit of a freak out album and proves people can dig more crazy music too!
Fun fact you might know or not? Is the band wanted a gay man dressed it sailor suit on the front cover but the record label was saying that’s a bad idea with a song like The HIV Song on the album it might be bad taste or something? Does the record label know they have sign Ween, I’ve got to ask at this point because bad taste or whatever is their middle name. So off course the record label is fine with a woman with her boobs hanging of a extra tiny small t-shirt and huge belt warped around her hips with Ween written on it! While writing this post I’ve notices websites like Amazon and other use the back of the album as the main photo while selling this album, must still be a little too much for some still in this day and age were mainstream pop singers these days wear what looks like underwear live on stage and video clips.
Chocolate and Cheese album is dedicated to John Candy and was their fourth album which was the first to be recorded in a real recording studio. Released in 1994 so yet another 90’s album for me, I can’t help myself really!
